Brookline, MA real-estate has seen appreciation in value over past five years

Only seven Massachusetts towns experienced increases in single-family median home prices during 2011 versus 2005, the peak of the local housing market. The Boston Globe gathered price data for those towns, as well as the seven towns that experienced the highest declines in median home prices.
